Congratulations Steve on your endorsement with Zildjian. Good for you! Have you been inside their famous cymbal vault?

I was on the Zildjian website and lo and behold.... There was Steve. Glad to see you on there as on of there endorsed artist. Doesn't matter if it is an A endorsmnet B or whatever. Glad to see the works of a good drummer paying of.

At least they didn't put "ALTEREO SPEEDWAGON" down there (just wanted to beat Fuse to the punch on that...)
Seriously, congrats, Steve! That's pretty cool.
I checked out your "Artist Setup" and notice that you play Projection Crashes. How do you feel about using those cymbals in fusion or jazz situations? I'm sure they work great for the heavier stuff, but are they too much in lighter situations? I was thinking about getting a Projection crash, but thought I might lose some of the versatility.
Congrats again, man....well deserved!

hey Steve!
Congratulations! that's great!
Just curious as to what the process was for you? Did you have to send them CDs and what not? Or did they simply hear about you and asked you to sign on???

So will you start doing Zildjian Clinics now, Steve? And will they be for free? (Just joking!)

I love the projection crashes, I think you get out of them what you put into them volume wise. They're sensitive that way and I get a nice full crash from them. Pretty much my ideal crash cymbal.
